My Laugh Sounds Like Cry

My 5th yipo said i should start solid now so that by 6th month i will be able to have solid twice a day. Now it is time for me to start learning how to eat/feed with spoon. Yi po advice mummy that i should be fed with rice cereal once a day during learning period.

Daddy and mummy get me, my first food - Nestle rice cereal with milk. I got a movie on my first meal but i haven't upload it which i will in few days time. After 3 days of rice cereal meal, mummy gave me Heinz-Parsnip, Sweet potato and Carrot puree and on the 6 days, mummy homemade me apple puree. It taste nice. Tomorrow i will be getting apple puree again because of the 3days wait rule that have to follow. Then i'll be getting homemade carrot puree from mummy. She's going to try avacado and peas for me too.

Above movie is taken in my granny house in Penang - inside Anna YiYi's room. I was playing with my daddy while mummy playing mahjong with Anna YiYi and Uncle.

Chinese New Year 08

On the first day of CNY, mummy woke me up at 8. She fed me with my milk and get me bathe and we head off to Nibong Tebal to visit my great grandma and the rest of my grandpa's brother and sister which is my auntie and uncle.

I get around 3 ang baos there, great grandma, old 4th uncle and old xiao uncle. Daddy and mummy get ang baos from great grandma too. Oh and i get ang baos from grandpa and grandma at home. Mummy and daddy never get from them and it's weird because i get from my daddy and mummy which means that grandpa and grandma should give ang bao to my daddy and mummy too even though they're married and got me this cute little baby, its still a good wishes for my daddy and mummy.

We head over to Bukit Mertajam after that and had our lunch well their lunch *i'm drinking my milk* in Auto City Old Town. Over there i get ang baos from Uncle Eric and Uncle Meng. We stayed for dinner and mummy won around rm20 from playing mahjong.

The second day of CNY, we head to NT again for dinner this time and i met Old big auntie and Old xiao ku. I get ang bao from each of them too.

Third of CNY which is today, daddy and mummy brought my to Penang to visit my maternal grandma and all of the family. It is my first time meeting my great grandma and all of them except my old 4th auntie. They all so happy to see me. They hug, they play, they laugh, they make me cry too. I get lots of ang bao tooooooooooooooooooooooo.

Now i'm back home and i'm sleeping like a pig. It has been three days that i didn't get to sleep well. Now good night.

Turtle turning

This video is taken few weeks ago. I just started to learn on turning myself from back to tummy. You'll see that i'm actually trying very hard to turn. Now as a 5 months old, i turn easily front and back.

Now what disturbing me is my gum starting to get very itchy. I guess i'm teething. I'll grab anything around me and put it into my mouth and scratch scratch the gum. My favourite is a hippo teether which mummy put inside fridge to make it cold cold for me. I love that very much.

Check Up

I went for my third dose hepatitis injection yesterday morning. Dr Mary measured my head and the length of me. Well, my head got bigger by 2cm and become 43cm. She said i will be tall with the current length of 67cm head to toe. She also praised me for being so clever. I can sit like a 7 months old baby and also, she estimate that i will be crawling next month. Daddy and mummy are very proud of my growth and also the stages of my learning.

Dr Mary gave some advice on feeding solid to my mummy. I think i will be given congee with sweet potato and carrot. Dr said only vegetables till i'm 10 months old. Mummy on the other hand had decided to feed me on congee and also puree though Dr. Mary said puree is not necessary.

Only eating congee and milk will be boring. That's what mummy said. She'll gonna try to cook more variety of puree for me to try. I love you mummy.

Daddy's alarm clock

Daddy always complaint that i am his alarm clock but actually to me it is his alarm clock that wakes me up every morning. It goes... "Yo yo yoyo Cindi... what's wrong with me ... AI NI" and its getting louder and louder. Daddy won't wake up and will just snoooze his alarm so it is my job to wake him up next since i'm already awake. I will make sound and will use my leg to kick him *softly of course* and i will use my finger to grab the features in his face. I even poke my two little fingers into his nose.Daddy usually will wake up and scold me Ju Siao Kong but with a smile.
